The GDPR was published in the Official Journal on 4th May 2016 and comes into force on 25th May 2018. Its purpose is to overhaul the current EU data protection regime as derived from Directive 95/46/EC.
As a Regulation, it is directly effective in all EU member states without the need for further national legislation.
The GDPR Consultation is open to Participants only. Our consultation is conducted with the aim of updating the existing data protection clauses within our suite of contractual documentation in order to comply with the GDPR.
During this consultation period, Participants can review and comment on changes to the Image Clearing System Participant Terms and Conditions and the Image Clearing System Manual (Track change versions are available on request from CompanySecretary@chequeandcredit.co.uk.
The C&CCC may publish responses on this website on an individual basis.
If a respondent wishes for any of their comments to be treated confidentially and not published, these comments must clearly marked as such when their response is submitted.
