Why don't all banks allow access to funds on the same day?
The industry has now set maximum timescales but this does not prevent banks beating those timescales with their own competitive offerings. Under The Banking Conduct of Business Sourcebook (BCOBS), banks and building societies are required to provide clear details of their policies.
